Team H&R Block Brings home three medals at the Canadian National Track Championships in BC!
The highlight of the first day came in the middle of the afternoon when Canadian Olympian Svein Tuft (Symmetrics) set a new track record at the Burnaby Velodrome for the 4000m Pursuit in a blistering time of 4:37.994. Tuft went on to win the Gold medal in the finals against first year Senior Matt Potma. Trevor Gunderson of Team H&R Block brought home the bronze medal a great accomplishment in finishing just behind Svein Tuft Canadian Olympian.
In the men's Madison, Olympic team members Svein Tuft of Langley, B.C., and Zach Bell of Watson Lake, Yukon won the gold medal. Mark MacDonald of Team H&R Block partnered with Cody Campbell of Surrey, B.C., to win the silver medal.
In the men's points race, Zach Bell of Watson Lake, Yukon took the gold medal with his Olympic team teammate Svein Tuft of Langley, B.C., second and Mark Macdonald of Calgary brought home the bronze medal. Bell was seventh in the event at the Olympic Games.
